Onyxia Cyber Recognized as a Sample Provider in CDPO  in the 2023 Gartner® Emerging Tech: Mitigate Advanced Persistent Threats in SaaS and Cloud Report.

Onyxia Cyber, creator of the world’s first core Cybersecurity Management Platform for CISOs and Security Leaders, has been recognized in the  Emerging Technologies report by Gartner.

Gartner recognized Onyxia as a Sample Provider in the Cyber Defense Planning and Optimization (CDPO) category. Gartner describes CDPO solutions as ones that can help CISOs “focus on reducing the attack surface without creating gaps in coverage of attacks” and keep their “focus on best-of-breed protection against major attack patterns.”

We believe that this is an amazing recognition of what we have already built and are continuing to develop. Our platform enables CISOs and security leaders to make data-driven decisions for a dynamic approach to building a cyber defense strategy.

We help CISOs improve security program effectiveness and resilience through automation and AI-enhanced performance management.

As the report states, “By automating routine tasks such as log analysis, incident response planning, and compliance management and reporting, organizations can improve their ability to detect and respond to cyber threats in a more efficient and timely manner.”

In this year’s report, Gartner introduced a new product category “Cyber Defense Planning and Optimization”(CDPO). This category is defined as tools that can help guide CISOs in optimizing overlapping tools, planning program elements, and eliminating redundant platforms, operations, or mitigation capabilities.

How Does Onyxia Help CISOs?

The Onyxia Cybersecurity Management Platform is an essential tool for CISOs and security leaders to strengthen their high-level security strategy and streamline day-to-day, tactical program management.

Onyxia’s mission is to empower CISOs with a core management platform that allows them to measure the performance of their security programs, ensure organizational compliance, and optimize security stack capabilities.

Our dynamic platform gives CISOs the tools to:

  • Measure security metrics and framework performance; continuously evaluate previous program performance and identify gaps.

  • Increase security stack efficiency, prioritize strategic security investments, and uncover any blind spots.

  • Generate customized reports to demonstrate compliance with industry regulations, address cyber risk committees, and communicate business outcomes.

With the SEC’s new regulations, the pressure on CISOs to effectively manage security strategy and report on business outcomes is at an all-time high. Onyxia addresses key challenges that CISOs face relating to their cyber defense planning and optimization.

Recognition in the Market

According to us being named as a Sample Provider in this report from Gartner is another validation of our ongoing effort in the enterprise cybersecurity market.

“We believe that being included in this report from Gartner puts a stamp on a year full of milestones,” said Sivan Tehila, CEO and Founder of Onyxia. “We believe that Onyxia will provide unmatched efficiency to the CISO role and this recognition captures the comprehensive and innovative aspects of our dynamic platform. Being named by Gartner as a sample vendor reinforces the value of our approach to helping CISOs and the effect it will have on the entire security community.”
